Mom: Biggest Fan 2017
Biggest Fan
Though I'm only left with my sweet memories, I wanted to show just one of the many, MANY times you were my biggest fan. Cheering, encouraging, comforting.
Today my mind wonders through the years of your support, your "I got your back", "what do you need?", "how can I help?" when life threw those unwanted yet undeniable curveballs. You were my rock.
You were my mother for my first 18years. My best friend the next 12. And then, rolls reversed. The cumbersome trials of life proved too much for your determined, giving self. You were then like my child. The next 8 years I had opportunity to care and love you as you did me all those years past. Cheering you in moments you overcame, encouraging in the moments you doubted. Comforting in times of despair. I was your biggest fan.
Time hasn't healed the wound. But with God's help, time softens the day to day ache. On days like today, when the ache seems unbearable, it's only God's comfort and peace that will see me through to the day when it is again dulled.
Love,
Your One And Only
